This June I was photographing another great wedding with Adam at All Manor Of Events in Suffolk. My morning started off at Jake’s house with his brother and best man Lloyd, their mum and dad. I love doing groom prep and more so in the family home. Everyone is much more relaxed and it makes for lovely documentary photography. It’s a great way to get embedded in the family and within an hour they’re much more comfortable being photographed and I can blend seamlessly into the family for the rest of the day.
The theme for the boys suits were steel blue suits and they all looked razor sharp. Jake’s letter from Emily was noticeably very touching and I’m sure his letter to her was just as much. This was gearing up for a lovely heartfelt wedding and I couldn’t wait to see them together at the church.
After the prep we made our way to the beautiful Bentley Church for their ceremony where I met up with Adam. He’d been photographing the all important bridal prep that morning. The service was delivered by the most accommodating vicar who knew the family very well. It was a lovely service and was accompanied by the Scintillo String Quartet. I’d met them a couple of other weddings and it was lovely to meet them again.
Emily’s bridesmaids looked wonderful but she stole the show in her fabulous dress from The Wedding Shop in Colchester. At the front of the church Jake was beaming from ear to ear when she arrived at the top of the aisle.
After the wedding Bride and Groom made their way to All Manor Of Events for their reception in a beautiful old Rolls Royce from Aristo Cars. We skipped through the traffic on the A12 and made it on schedule to All Manor of Events in Henley.
Scintillo String Quartet had arrived before everyone and were playing as the guests arrived. All Manor of Events is located along a lovely treelined road on a working farm with lovely rustic features and all the trimming of a lovely modern wedding venue; with beautifully manicured rose garden and lawn, large marquee reception room with a modern bar, dedicated disco area and clean toilet facilities. Everything you’d need to accommodate your wedding party.
Here’s a glimpse into Jake and Emily’s wonderful wedding at All Manor of Events.
