Here’s a sneak peek into Sarah and Nigel’s wonderfully intimate and classy Norwich city wedding at St. Giles House Hotel. The following day they had a beautiful blessing ceremony and reception at The Norfolk Mead Hotel. Surrounded by all their loving friends and family they partied hard and well into the night.

We first met at the end of November and I knew instantly that this was going to be another great wedding to shoot. Their vision was for an intimate black tie wedding on Saturday afternoon followed by a big knees-up party on Sunday with all their friends. They were planning a winter wedding but the weather this February was far from wintry. The temperatures were in the double figures and there wasn’t a cloud in the sky on both days. It was quite glorious.

They chose wonderful venues too. St. Giles House Hotel is a gorgeous venue for a city wedding with beautifully grand walkways and rooms, it fit their wedding vision precisely.

Sara’s aunt conducted a beautiful blessing ceremony at The Norfolk Mead Hotel on Sunday afternoon. This is another great wedding venue and their 120 wedding reception guests had a fantastic time.

Their wedding speeches were just about perfect too; full of love, humour and just the right amount of heckling from the guests! And just look at that scrumptious 4 tier wedding cake. DJ Paul Allen was on the decks playing everyone’s favourite Motown mixes keeping the dance floor busy all night.

Thanks Sara and Nigel for letting me be a part of your wonderful wedding. I hope your wedding photos bring back all the memories of these two days.
